It is always nice to give something. At Ko-Sa Beach Resort, besides taking care of our guests and staff, we believe that social contribution to the village is important. There are 2 major key items we focus on, Education and Health Care. In March we sponsored the Ampenyi Basic School for the 6th March Independence Day. With this sponsoring they hired canopies, so that the children would not stand in the sun, buy awards for students who performed very well and a band who played music during the marching of the kids. For the CHP’s Compound in Ampenyi we were able to buy an oxygen bottle with accessories. We bought the oxygen bottle with money, we collect from our day guests who are making use of our facilities. So besides as a day guest, enjoying our resort, you contribute to the CHP’s compound in Ampenyi. Thanks for your support in this.👏

-Sa Beach Resort we feel much connected to our village Ampenyi. From time to time we sponsor activities that are held in the village. In 2022, we sponsored the festival and the Christmas Carol for the school. In December 2019 we handed over the newly renovated Maternity ward to the Chief of Ampenyi and the Ghana Health Service. Since then we are helping the CHPS compound with Electra, carpentry and painting work. We also started a fundraising for the CHPS compound to raise money to build a children ward, female and male ward. As this was not going so well, we changed our Day Guest Policy -Sa Beach Resort. Day Guest who are using our facilities on the Beach has to pay 50 Cedi for an Adult, Volunteers and Children 25 Cedi for a Day. The collected money will be 100% used for the CHPS Compound, so that hopefully it will become a Health Center. This Health Center will be then for 3 villages that currently have no access to a doctor. Today we handed over 5,330.00 Ghana Cedi to the nurses at the CHPS Compound, this money was raised through donations of our guests and the Day Fee paid by Day Guests.

Congratulations to Kate, Jennifer, Benedicta and Memuna on receiving an award from Ko-Sa Beach Resort. We have an Amazing Team -Sa Beach Resort, we are proud on the Ko-Sa Team.
But from time to time it is nice to recognize employees for their outstanding performance.
Kate received the Award for the Best Young Employee 2022, Jennifer the Hospitality Award 2022 and Benedicta received the Employee of the Year 2022 Award.
We had a special award for Memuna, a Long Time Service Award. For 15 years of service in our resort, this award is a true testimony of her dedication to the company.

This morning was a joyful morning as the boats came ashore to sell their fish. They had caught beautiful tuna. The strong ladies of the village came and negotiated a price with the fishermen. After an agreed price, the ladies took the fish to the village to resell it, or to smoke it, or perhaps a nice meal for themselves tonight with fufu.🐟

As Ko-Sa Beach Resort is the main sponsor of the Nine Lessons and Carols programme for the Ampenyi M/A Basic School we visited yesterday the programme and it was really joyful to see the children preforming and singing. They did do a great job and also compliments for the organizers of the programme 🎅🎄

-Sa Beach Resort we work hard to get fresh organic food for our restaurant. Our plantain and banana farm is producing amazing delicious fruit, great in a banana shake or plantain with a perfectly made red red. It is always wonderful to see vegetables growing from a seed to a healthy veggie 🌱

We like to share with you some pictures of our renovation work done -Sa Beach Resort. Together with our staff and workers from outside we are proud on the result. We like to welcome you again in our restyled resort to enjoy a good atmosphere, good food and nice cold cocktails at our small paradise 🏖😎

For major renovation work at our restaurant and rooms we will be closed from September 1st until September 20th. We hope to see you again from of September 21st.🪚🔨🧱👷

Yesterday at Ko-Sa Beach Resort we had a beautiful cultural performance from Baobab. When they started there was a strong wind but no rain, but after 10 minutes we had a small storm. The Baobab group moved quickly inside and continued their cultural performance. We admire their skills and motivation just to continue in spite of the weather and spoiled the audience with an amazing show.

Ko-Sa Beach Resort Award Event 2021

No organization can be successful whithout a good team.At Ko-Sa we are proud that we have a dedicated team that works hard to give our guests the best service in our industry. From time to time it is good to award the ones that made a difference. This year there are 3 awards to be given out. The Best Young Employee went to Enock Nana Asiedu, the Hospitality Award to Godbless Baidoo and the Award for Employee 2021 to William Roy Van Dyck. Congratulations to them and keep up the good work. 🏆🎉

Ko-Sa Beach Resort is strongly connected to the local village, Ampenyi. In 2019 Ko-Sa Beach Resort rebuild an empty old school building into a maternity ward. After finishing, the maternity ward was handed over to the inhabitants of Ampenyi and the Ghana Health Service . This year Ko-Sa Beach Resort and the staff decided to do a 2 day painting / cleanup exercise at the clinic. Everybody worked hard and after 2 days we succeeded to transform the building from old to new and gave it a new look 😀
