*TOPIC: You are a Terrifier To Jericho*
_Text: Joshua 6:1-2 Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valor._

Apart from the identity of an enforcer, another kind of identity which Jericho saw in the Israelites was the identity of a Terrifier. *I have never seen a Coward accomplishing anything bold*
By definition, a Terrifier is someone who inspires fear, terror and dread greatly on others. God delivered the first generation of the Israelites from Egypt and took them to Canaan to radiate a divine fear on them as a way of showing how magnificent their God is. Unfortunately, when they got to Jericho they rather got terrified by the huge walls of Jericho and giant Sons of Anak. *Israelites limited the capacity of God by the fear they shown*
On the contrary, another generation of the Israelites who knew their mandate got to Jericho for the second time and the whole of Jericho shut themselves to an extent that none came in and none went out. The dread, fear and terror which fell on Jericho was more than they could handle because a generation arose who were not ready to surrender to the threats of Jericho; a generation arose who were ready to die for the purpose of God to live. *One of the people the devil fear most are the folks who never give up on themselves in spite of many falls.*
Child of Zion, you were chosen, called, sanctified and ordained as such a time as this not to bow to any Jericho, pain, or challenge but to be a Terrifier to the camp of the enemy. Oh may your name even scare them to death. *This one too shall pass.*
