Theme: Broken to be Blessed

Text: When he saw that he had not prevailed against him, he touched the socket of his thigh; so the socket of Jacob's thigh was dislocated while he wrestled with him. Genesis 32:25

Many people claim to be blessed by GOD but it is not entirely true, because they used their own means to acquire what they have. Like Jacob, most of us think we can use our own connections, strength, money, etc to accomplish what GOD has said about us. Even when he encountered the angel, he still used his strength until the angel touched his thigh and dislocated the bone.

Until you are touched or broken, the blessing cannot come. The time has come for you to allow the HOLY SPIRIT to break you and have HIS Own way. As we've entered into the new year, give up on your strength, wisdom, connections and allow the power of GOD to work in your life. You have tried so many tricks to get money, married, successful, but you have failed. What you need is to humble yourself and allow GOD to take control. Depend on the power of GOD and breakthrough will always be your portion. I pray that the HOLY SPIRIT breaks you so that HE will have HIS way and make your life glorious.

Therefore I was left alone and saw this great vision, and there remained no in me : for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength (Daniel 10:8).

NO MORE EXCUSES
The day Zacchaeus climbed the tree, short people lost their right to use HEIGHT as an excuse.

The day David killed Goliath, young people lost their right to use AGE as an excuse.

The day Joseph became Prime Minister, illegal immigrants lost their right to use STATUS as an excuse.

The day the woman with the issue of blood used her last strength to touch the hem of Jesus' garment, weak people lost their right to use WEAKNESS as an excuse.

The day the widow dropped her offering, poor people lost their right to use POVERTY as an excuse.

The day Daniel met the lions, fearful people lost their right to use DEATH as an excuse.

The day grace came through Christ, the "LOST" lost their right to use SIN as their excuse.

NO MORE EXCUSES..... Stop making excuses, stop procrastinating and do the needful.

Theme: fight for your portion in 2023

Text: Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Si-hon the Am-or-ite, king of Hesh-bon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle. Deuteronomy 2:24

We always have hope entering a new year. We believe that the new year will bring new opportunities, blessings, breakthroughs, etc. We often get disappointed because months into the new year, it looks the same as the previous. Blessings and breakthroughs do not happen on their own. They are made to happen by spiritual engagement. Take responsibility and make things happen in your life. The violent taketh it by force (Matthew 11:12).

Your success in 2023 will depend on your preparations today. So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the LORD his GOD (2 Chronicles 27:6). Nothing happens until prayer goes up. You are where you are because you have always waited instead of fighting for your portion. If only you will take a step today and pray, you will see the glory of GOD. Like Bartimaeus who was not prepared to allow JESUS to pass him by, don't allow another year pass by without your testimony. Shout in prayer until your voice is heard.

I prophesy that as you fight for your portion, the devil will fall before you and every challenge will be turned into a dumbfounding testimony in the Name of JESUS.

*TEXT* 1 CORINTH. 1:2
To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be his holy people, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ-their Lord and ours:

*EXPOSITION*
The Church is called by God to live a sanctified life.(set apart for God), To live in Christ, it is a call of "Holy Living," it is one of the Nature of God and therefore,all those in Christ Jesus everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ must live a holy life in Him.
This holy living, can't be achieved without depending on His grace that abounds unto all saints in Christ Jesus.
Let us strive to live a Holy life this year and beyond because we have been mandated to do so.(1 peter 1:15-16), It's not a choice, rather a lifestyle for all believers.
*PRAYER*
Lord, let your grace abound unto us all to live a sanctified life for you today and forever. Amen.
