Asaase Green Project is NGO and grassroots organization that aim to use permaculture strategies to provide sustainable solutions to basic and environmental problems in communities. In a way that will help improve the environment and contribute towards the achievement of sustainable development goals.

Asaase Green Project will take positive action to mobilise resources to support sustainable agriculture and promote green living practices that will help combat hunger, malnutrition, poverty, climate change, improve the environment,etc.

Our organization aim to create the enabling environment and provide digital exchange platform for Volunteers to network. As they use their backyard or open space to grow food with available resources and promote green lifestyle for self sufficiency. By learning about Permaculture and discover simple ways to reduce living cost,eat fresh food,save money,barter trade,recycle, water harvesting,eco friendly building, support local economy and improve the environment.

GHETTONOMICS is using your time,skills and resources to exchange for goods and services on alternative trading network with grassroots volunteers. By using community inclusive currency called mutual token for peer to peer transaction and also access basic goods and services. That will help improve the socio-economic well-being of volunteers in the network and contribute towards the achievement of sustainable development goals.

Barter is a straight one for one trade. I will sew your cloth for you,if you set up my garden.

GHETTONOMICS is a more flexible version of barter trade that incorporate items and services between multiple parties. By using GHETTONOMICS whenever you can, more cash is left to save,invest or spend as needed. Spending time instead of cash also create a stronger community and provides the opportunity to spend more time doing the work or hobbies you most enjoy and getting paid in mutual tokens.

HOW DOES IT WORK ?
Every member's time is of equal worth ; 1 hour of time is worth 10 mutual tokens.Each member hold an account, which begins at 50 mutual token. John pays Mary 40 mutual token for cooking. Mary's account is now 50 plus 40 equal to 90 mutual token. Mary then pays Samuel 90 tokens for carpentry work. Therefore Samuel account is 50 plus 90 mutual token equal to 140 mutual token and Mary's account balance is now 0 (zero)

With no boundaries on the ability to earn mutual token,the community inclusive currency turnover of Ghettonomics is unlimited.

GUARANTEED BASIC INCOME
It's a welfare program that guarantee that members or volunteers will get regular or monthly income to pay for their food and meet their basic needs. This will help improve their socio-economic well-being, by using cooperative business structure with utility token and technology.

Ghana is a rich country blessed with abundant natural resources to create wealth for the betterment of citizens. But unfortunately over million of youth are hungry and poor. Because of high rate of unemployment, inequality, lack of opportunities for them to use their skills and talents to succeed.

It's our objective and commitment as organization to advocate for Guaranteed basic income through the application of Ghettonomics. In a way to combat hunger, poverty, mitigate climate change, etc. As we take positive action to improve the well-being of citizens and contribute towards the achievement of sustainable development goals.
