Short Encounters

Watch the interview with writer and director Jacob Thomas Pilgaard, winner of SEIFF's 2nd edition Short Encounters Award, for his film The Deportation of a Model Citizen. The film was an Oscar Qualified Live Action Short for the 2023 Awards. The interview is both in Greek and English. Oscar qualification, 2024. Amazing news regarding an Official Selection at 2022 edition. Since its screening at SEIFF’s live event last May, “Troy” was acquired by The New Yorker and released on their Screening Room platform last month. Now anyone can watch it on their website, as well as TNY channels on Vimeo and YouTube! “Troy” has also been qualified for the 2024 Oscars and it is currently in the midst of its “For Your Consideration campaign”. Huge congrats to Mike Donahue.
