When spiraling amongst the horrors and the directives of modern life, we ought to maintain the human spirit and emotional touch. If not, we are doomed, not just to be consumed by algorithms, but rather, to become one. The Hive is a reminder, to always evaluate and judge the imagery on the screens, with our own values, experiences and understanding. To always prioritize physical and spiritual connection over doomscrolling. For no one can dictate what our existence is meant to be, what our needs really are and who we are going to be.

“The Hive” marks the beginning of: the next chapter for Children of the astroturf, the recordings of the LP “Point nemo” and the process of introducing our music on a live environment!
With this song Andrew Mos (Kanenas Andreas) is introduced and the bit of soul that he puts on, is only a small glimpse towards the things that are about to come.
A big hug to: Ibo Himi, for the additional layers that he adds to our sound and of course to the always present at all levels, Daisy Chain & Sci-Fi River.

Καθώς στροβιλιζόμαστε ανάμεσα στους τρόμους και τις υποταγές της μοντέρνας ζωής, οφείλουμε να διατηρούμε το ανθρώπινο πνεύμα και το συναισθηματικό άγγιγμα. Εάν δεν φροντίσουμε γι’ αυτά, είμαστε καταδικασμένοι, όχι απλά στο να μας καταναλώσουν αλγόριθμοι, αλλά μάλλον, να γίνουμε ένας. Το “The Hive” είναι μία υπενθύμιση, για να αξιολογούμε και να κρίνουμε τις εικόνες που παίζουν στις οθόνες, βάση των δικών μας αξιών και εμπειριών. Να θυμόμαστε πως πρέπει πάντα να βάζουμε σε προτεραιότητα την φυσική και πνευματική σύνδεση κόντρα στο doomscrolling. Κανένας δεν μπορεί να υποδείξει την σημασία της ύπαρξης μας, τις ανάγκες μας, την εξέλιξη μας.

Με το “The Hive” ξεκινάει το επόμενο κεφάλαιο των Children of the astroturf, η διαδικασία ηχογράφησης του LP “Point nemo” καθώς και η μεταφορά της μουσικής μας σε ζωντανό περιβάλλον!
Σε αυτό τραγούδι, παρουσιάζεται ο Andrew Mos και η συναισθηματική ένταση που βάζει, είναι μόνο μία κλεφτή ματιά προς τα πράγματα που έρχονται!

Μια μεγάλη αγκαλιά στον Ibo Himi, για τις εκφάνσεις που αναδεικνύει στον ήχο μας και φυσικά μία ακόμα, στις πάντα παρούσες Sci-Fi River & Daisy Chain!

Ο αστερισμός είναι ένας τρόπος σύνδεσης διακριτών στοιχείων σε μια κοινή τροχιά σκέψης. Δεν μας βοηθάει να γνωρίσουμε καλύτερα την ποιότητα αυτών των στοιχείων, όμως κάνει κάτι άλλο: φτιάχνει μια καινούργια αναπαράσταση, από σημεία που ήταν στην ίδια θέση για πάντα.
Ακολουθώντας την παράδοση που θέλει τα χαμένα παιδιά να ακολουθούν το δρόμο για “το δεύτερο αστέρι στα δεξιά”, αυτές είναι συντεταγμένες για έναν τόπο που βρίσκεται κάπου γενικά στο μετά, με μάτια ειδικά στραμμένα στο πριν.

Α constellation is a way to connect visible elements through a certain trajectory of thought. It won’t help us understand the quality of those elements, but it will work in another way: by creating a new representation, made of points that have always been in the same place.
Following the tradition that wants all the lost boys and girls to chase the path down “the second star to the right”, these are the coordinates of a place that exists somewhere abstract in the future, with eyes staring somewhere specific in the past.

Αυτή είναι μια ιστορία που κινείται μεταξύ (μηχανικής) βλάβης και αναγνώρισης, μεταξύ μοναξιάς και ταξιδιού +0,02 δευτερόλεπτα στον χρόνο. Κυρίως είναι μια ιστορία για το πώς ζήσαμε μαζί τα κενά αέρος. Ή, καλύτερα, είναι μια ιστορία για την ίδια την πτώση.

This is a story that transcends between (mechanical) failure and acknowledgment, between solitude and travelling +0.02 seconds in time. But mostly, it is a story for the way we experience vacuum. Or, better, it’s a story for the fall.
