A cute and fun addition in our handmade wardrobe is here!🧵
is a mini Balloon Skirt Pattern for playful outfits. Since it’s still a very hot Summer here in Greece, I’ve styled it up with my one shoulder Pattern and heavy boots. Nevertheless, it can be worn all wear round!
It features a shaped yoke which accentuates waistline, while has a voluminous, bubble-like skirt part. This look is achieved by sewing the gathered hem on a self fabric lining, which pulls the outer fabric inwards, creating the puffy appearance.
To tell the truth, it was my teenage daughter’s idea to add this design at the collection and she’s already wearing the pattern sample :).

‘SISSY’ sewing pattern is high waisted, has center front fly, side pockets, darts and pockets at the back. The fitted waist portion and immediate flare can enhance your waistline and rear, creating a flattering, curved silhouette.

Knit fabrics with stretch percentage of 30% - 50%, such as interlock, rib, swimwear qualities or ponte di roma are suitable for this pattern. Use a serger and follow our detailed instructions to finish this awesome sewing project in less than an hour!
