Bag of Nails

They are characterized by their improvisational style and inspired by the classic blues, rock and soul sounds from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Bag of Nails start their musical journey in 2015 as a trio and release their first demo "Bag of Nails" in 2016. In 2017 they perform live in the national radio station (Rock Sinanastrofes, ΕRΤ). In the summer of 2018, they take part and win the first prize in

"The battle of the Bands" at the national television's (ERT) summer festival "summERTime". On 22 of February 2019 they open for the legendary Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash at "Kyttaro Club" in Athens and receive great reviews by the local music fanzines. In 2019, they record live their debut full length album “The Wolf Inside Me” at "Shakti Studios" , which has been officially released on vinyl by Nasoni Records (Berlin, DE) and on all digital platforms in the end of December of the same year. Music magazines of international scope ("Blues Blast", Chicago, Illinois amongst others) write rave reviews for the album while "The Rockpit" magazine (Perth, Australia) ranks "The Wolf Inside Me" as #2 of the best blues albums of 2020 over releases by Joe Bonamassa, The Allman Betts Band, Dion and Blues Pills etc. In 2022, with a renewed line-up, the addition of keyboards and their complete installation in the countryside, Bag of Nails are on the road again and ready to reconnect with all the hippies, all the lovers and all the night trippers. Bag of Nails are:

Οι Bag of Nails είναι μία psych blues/soul rock μπάντα, που αφορμάται απ' τον αυτοσχεδιαστικό χαρακτήρα του ροκ των 60's και 70's, του μπλουζ και της soul.

Το συγκρότημα ξεκινάει την πορεία του, ως τρίο, το 2015 και κυκλοφορεί το πρώτο του demo "Bag of Nails" το 2016. Το 2017 πραγματοποιεί ένα Live Session στο εθνικό ραδιόφωνο (ΕΡΤ) στα πλαίσια της εκπομπής "Ροκ Συναναστροφές". Το καλοκαίρι του 2018 συμμετέχει και αποσπά το πρώτο βραβείο στο "Battle of the Bands" στα πλαίσια του "summERTime" στον κήπο της ΕΡΤ. Στις 22 Φεβρουαρίου του 2019, οι Bag of Nails ανεβαίνουν στη σκηνή του "Κύτταρο Club" και ανοίγουν τη συναυλία των θρυλικών "Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash" αποσπώντας εκπληκτικές κριτικές απ' τα εγχώρια μουσικά περιοδικά. Το πρώτο τους LP «The Wolf Inside Me», ηχογραφείται live στα Shakti Studios και κυκλοφορεί επισήμως σε βινύλιο από τη Nasoni Records (Berlin, DE) αλλά και σε όλες τις ψηφιακές πλατφόρμες, το Δεκέμβρη του 2019.
