Agnosia

13 years ago today (1/4/2009), the band released their first full-length album entitled "Trace Decay".

The album received outstanding reviews from the Greek and international press, opening the gates for us to share the stage with some of our childhood’s prog metal heroes such as Fates Warning, Psychotic Waltz, Mystic Force, Soul Cages and acclaimed local bands like Wastefall and Until Rain among others.

At the end of 2014, agnosia released their latest mini album entitled "a blot on the landscape" which again received great response even if the band didn’t have the opportunity to present it live due to several line up changes.

In the years that followed, several attempts were made to bring a full line up again, we met some great persons who tried to help, but professional, family and other unforeseen obligations and limitations could not coordinate with the schedule of a full time band, resulting in frustration that finally brought the band to ice.

Agnosia has been alive one way or another for 19 years. We have grown up with this band and it’s impossible to let it die, as our passion for music remains the same. For this reason we decided to try a different formula and continue the project as a “duo” (with Dion looking after the guitars, bass, keyboards/programming and Takis taking over the vocals and additional guitars), which whenever needed will be accompanied by friends and session musicians.

We thank from the bottom of our hearts our label Steel Gallery records who still believe in us, all our past members, and friends (we have no fans!) who are still interested in the band and send us messages to see if we are alive!
