🎯 By the Students' Side 🎯
❗ELEMASYN® organizes its International Student Conferences with the aim of broadening the horizons of students across the country through educational activities. It steadfastly believes that the School, as a Social Institution and a Public Good, should play a more intricate role than merely preparing children for eventual entry into the University. It should ensure that every young person discovers their unique skills, nurtures them, and brings them to light.
❗ELEMASYN® accepts that there are no "capable" and "incapable" children. In line with Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences, every child possesses "hidden" forms of intelligence, and we must, deliberately yet gently, identify them for each future citizen individually.
❗ELEMASYN® was created to contribute to this endeavor.

🌟As we approach the Christmas holidays, let's explore some of the most beloved Czech festive traditions to evoke the Christmas Spirit!
1. St. Nicholas Day (December 6): In Czech Republic, St. Nicholas Day marks the start of Christmas festivities. People dress as St. Nicholas, angels, or devils, questioning children about their behavior. Good children receive treats, while the naughty ones get sacks of coal or potatoes.
2. Generous Day - Štědrý Den (December 24): This is the peak of Czech Christmas celebrations. Families fast, hoping to spot the "golden pig" for good luck, then break the fast with a hearty Christmas Eve dinner featuring fish, potato salad, soup, and sauerkraut. After dinner, families gather around the tree for caroling, and Ježíšek (Little Jesus) leaves presents for the children.
3. Kolaches: Kolaches, sweet Czech pastries, are a holiday tradition. Made with yeast dough and filled with farmers cheese, apricot jam, or poppy seeds, they are a special treat at Christmas.
4. First and Second Christmas Holidays (December 25-26): The days after Christmas are considered the First and Second Christmas Holidays. People sing carols, or rest and relax during this time.

🌿In December 2019, European leaders, gathering at the European Council, set an inspiring goal: The EU is committed to achieving climate-neutrality by 2050.
🍃 But what does climate-neutrality mean?
It means that by 2050, EU member countries are determined to significantly slash their greenhouse gas emissions. They're also working hard to find innovative solutions to balance out any remaining emissions, ensuring a net-zero impact on our environment.
🌱 And what about the goals?
The goals set are:
✅ at least 55% fewer emissions by 2030
✅ 30% of total EU expenditure will go to climate-related projects until 2027
In addition, in June 2021, the Council gave the green light to the EU's new climate change adaptation strategy. The plan sets a vision for the EU to be resilient to climate change's impacts by 2050.
It's a bold mission, but it's a crucial step towards a sustainable future.
Together, we're embracing the challenge and striving for a greener, cleaner, and more climate-resilient Europe!
