On Friday 17th May, I’ll be bringing my group sound journey experience to the lovely folk of Chislehurst. The venue for this one-off event is Deva Yoga.

I’ve always wanted to use sound therapy to work with children, so I was very excited to have my first young client try voice analysis and vibrational retuning recently.

When I left Crete in February for an extended stay in London, I wanted to focus on my voice analysis and vibrational work and test whether it was viable for me to do more of it in London on a regular basis. I’m really happy to report that the signs have been very encouraging and I definitely feel there is an opportunity for me to be offering my sound therapy services here working with people one-to-one and helping them address their physical, emotional and mental health.

THE EVENT 🎼

We will gather at 7.15 for a 7.30pm start. You will be sent a couple of simple questions to reflect on prior to the evening.

Ed will open the space and guide you to clarify your intention, and to share it with the group.

Rob will then use his voice, drums, gongs, bowls and other instruments to help you open up, shift, and receive the gifts of the experience.

We will close with a period of silence and some words of completion, in time for a 9.30pm finish.

Ecstatic dance is a spontaneous form of dance that encourages creative expression and exploration of body movement. During an ecstatic dance session, participants dance without restrictions or judgment on themselves or others, creating an environment of freedom and mutual respect.

The practice of ecstatic dance can bring many mental and physical health benefits.

Dance is an effective way to reduce stress and anxiety, increase flexibility, muscle strength and balance. Additionally, it can help increase self-esteem, self-awareness, and creativity.It's a great form of moving meditation. It is also a lot of fun!

The practice is open to all, with no dance experience required, and is based on freedom and mutual respect. The important thing is to enter into the spirit of the practice and let yourself go to the movement of your body, respecting the other participants, maintaining a safe distance and not judging the movement of others.

I’m very happy to invite you all to a special 2-day Arts & Health Festival happening on Friday 2nd June in Chania and on Saturday 3rd June in Gavalochori, Apokoronas.

This festival is an invitation for self care and wellness for adults.
It is inspired by our deep belief in the beneficial relationship between Art and Health.

All proceeds from the festival will be donated to Orizondas, an organisation in Chania that supports adults and children with cancer.
