Kessariani 22 Community Mural: Oral, Archival and Spatial (Hi)stories

We have been working for quite some time on creating a multimodal research project combining anthropology and architecture methodologies! Urban walks, oral history archives, and collaborative workshops have been some of our tools to foster urban awareness, shared experiences, and an understanding of diverse perspectives. We explored further how to engage with communities creatively, integrate visual media into research, and communicate findings effectively.

New 🔎research project titled 'Sonic Mappings for Urban Counter-Histories: Geolocated Podcasts for the Decolonize This City! Anti-Tour' in collaboration with Penelope Papailias, Associate Professor and Director of the Social Anthropology Laboratory at the University of Thessaly.
This initiative is funded by the Center of Experimental Humanities, Bard College , New York.

The project holds added significance in the aftermath of the recent flood in Volos City.
