As the New School Term draw closer Deputy Commander of Region No.3 Superintendent R. Stanley, other ranks in collaboration with Forrester Lumber & Building Complex and DGNet Internet Service on 2023-08-23, donated several School Bags to children of Wine Bush Leonora, West Coast Demerara at its Regional Headquarters, Leonora Police Station.

Nothing but smiles were visible on the children faces to receive their pre-school bags.

Superintendent Stanley spoke on behalf of the Commander K. Pareshram and the force at large for the opportunity afforded to participate in the distribution.

In return their parents who accompanied the children thanked Superintendent Stanley and the donors for such kind gesture and appreciation.

Customers in Demerara and Berbice experienced an interruption in service due to a disturbance on the Transmission Line connecting our Golden Grove and Sophia substations.

Our teams are actively investigating the cause of this disruption, including inspecting sites along the Transmission Line route on the East Bank Demerara. This is to determine if any heavy equipment came into contact with the line.
