Its the end of the first week since we kicked off our Ground Lifting drive and we are exhilarated to publish our list of donors as promised. Please join us in showing our gratitude to the persons and businesses listed below in order of delivery this week:

As residents of our community, you're the most important part of The Harry Prowell Playfield.
At the Harry Prowell Playfield Committee, our efforts to enhance and develop the facility can't take
effect unless we have the support of everyone in our community.
We would like to invite you to TEAM up with us to help make a difference!
By donating a truckload of sand or dirt, you will be playing your part in supporting us in achieving the goal of raising the
ground so as to alleviate flooding, while also making it useable throughout the year.
All donations to our committee will be accepted in the said materials and NOT cash. The rationale is to have
you pay directly to the truckers and copy of receipt will be issued to both yourself and committee.
Anyone willing to donate cash to this venture will be directed to the Betterhope/LBI NDC, which is the
entity that is directly responsible for the Playfield, where an official receipt will be issued.
To kickstart this initiative some of our members have taken the lead role in donating the first few loads
of sand.
In our efforts for transparency and accountability ALL Donors will be published on our page,
with their permission.

Thanks also to our hard working Committee, with this phase completed, we can continue in our diligent pursuit of having the ground cleared, filled and leveled.👏🙏

Today a charity event was held at the ground in support of Mr. Harry who has been incapacitated for over 1 year now. He reached out and our committee responded by facilitating fund raising games, under 15, over 40 and open, in which we waivered 50% of the ground rental fees. Kudos to all those who made this possible especially the donors and organisers👌🙏..

Visit by Hon. Min. Charles Ramson 23.04.22, reassuring the community of our government's committment and continued support towards getting the ground back to its glory days.

Big Thank You to the team that assisted in the removal of the bagged grass and installation of a temporary bridge yesterday🙏. With this in place we are hoping to get the ground cleared and slashed so it can be useable for the holidays especially to the kids who are on school vacation.
