Baba’s devotion to Lord Ram was so deep that it is said he inhaled and exhaled Ram’s name. He guided all devotees to turn to Ram Nam chanting, a sadhana more powerful than any other for reaching the divine and experiencing liberation.
“One who chants ‘Rama’ Naam, upon just remembrance of Rama for a moment, has taken bath in all the sacred pilgrimages, has donated the whole earth like King Bali, has performed all kinds of sacrificial yajnas, and has worshiped all deities.” To read the full article check the link in bio.

“My deep respect for them thus comes as a result of my direct experience. This is the gift that we want to help give the world. To achieve this, as a first step we will bring people of influence to experience some of the most profound beings on planet earth – the shamans, elders and wisdom keepers of nature. We are very confident that with exposure to their vibration, their music, their love and their healing, word will spread fast on the importance of honoring and respecting the indigenous way of life.”

“Homemakers are often neglected in society, sometimes undervalued, and sometimes people might feel they don’t contribute enough because they are not contributing financially. But the truth is, without homemakers, it is tough to build a powerful society and generation.”
“Masters who live in society, amongst karmic beings, usually seem to die in apparently the same way that karmic beings do. When Ramana Maharshi was suffering from cancer, one devotee expressed that she herself and many other devotees would happily take his physical pain upon themselves. To this, Ramana replied laughing: ‘Well where do you think I got this pain from in the first place?’ Masters automatically absorb and burn the impurities of their devotees, and actually of the whole world, through their own body.“

The Awakening Times Special 2024 Edition is out! Dear Constant Reader,
Welcome to our Special February Edition, a month when we honor our founder and beloved friend Mohanji. This issue is a celebration of success, offering a glimpse into Mohanji’s world.
Each year, as Mohanji’s birthday approaches, we embark on a journey of introspection. We reflect on the impact we’ve made, the service we’ve rendered, and the inspiration we’ve ignited. In this process of self-assessment, we find ourselves not only celebrating Mohanji but also reaffirming our commitment to his vision.
This year holds special significance as we commemorate the tenth anniversary of The Awakening Times. A decade of dedication, determination, and passion has brought us to this milestone, a testament to the enduring spirit of our team, fueled by Mohanji’s profound vision.
In this edition, alongside our reflection on success, you’ll find insightful articles, interviews, and features that delve into various aspects of personal growth, spirituality, and service. From stories of resilience to practical tips for achieving one’s goals, this edition aims to inspire and uplift you.
As we explore the essence of success, let us heed Mohanji’s wisdom:
“Success ingredients are:
Hard work
Focus
Consistency
Patience
Sacrifice
Discipline
Determination
Self-confidence
Self-respect
And above all, love what you do for no particular reason.”
May these words resonate within us, guiding our endeavors with clarity and purpose. Let us embrace each challenge with love and determination, knowing that true success lies not only in achievement but also in the journey itself.
With gratitude, TAT
Passionate about animals but finding it challenging to transition to a plant-based diet? Fret not – we’ve got you covered! Explore our Veganuary edition and follow Biljana Vozarevic’s inspiring vegan journey.
Dear Constant Reader,
This edition of The Awakening Times holds a double significance for us in that 2024 marks our 10th year in seeking to find and communicate stories and knowledge to transform and uplift; you see before the first of what we hope to be a very memorable year. This edition is also our tribute to veganism, an annual campaign to get the humans of the world to commit to a month as a vegan. Non-violence is precept we hold with and shamelessly endorse at every opportunity
In line with our mission, we had the privilege of interviewing the creative team behind the animated film “Kamadhenu and Nandini.” This heartwarming story follows Kamadhenu, a cow, and her beautiful calf Nandini, as they overcome their fears of humans and find sanctuary. Through their incredible artistic vision, this team emphasizes the importance of treating all beings with kindness and respect.
This edition is filled with stories that will inspire you to reevaluate your choices and delve deeper into what you truly stand for. It is a reminder that for things to change, we must recognize the interconnectedness of all life.
As we reflect on our journey over the past decade, it humbles us to see how far we have come in spreading positivity, wisdom, and spiritual insights. Our magazine has served as a source of inspiration for countless individuals seeking guidance on their spiritual path. We sincerely appreciate the support from all of you throughout these years.
Let us continue our collective effort towards creating a more compassionate world.
With gratitude,
The Awakening Times Team

“Do not imitate others, instead look within and act according to your nature. Do your duties sincerely. Keep your mind focused on the Lord and on doing good for others. This will lead to happiness and progress. It will enable you to become the BEST version of yourself.“
“A Master has dissolved all of their own limited patterns of perception. Once they have done this, and if their body still remains alive and functional, then they will spend the rest of their lives empowering others to become the same as them. “
“Kundalini, represented as a sleeping serpent in the muladhara chakra, is the latent energy in humans. Pranayama techniques aim to awaken this energy, guiding it through the sushumna nadi, piercing the six chakras, and reaching the sahasrara chakra at the crown of the head. This process symbolizes the union of Shakti (kinetic energy) with Shiva (cosmic consciousness), leading to liberation.”
“Like the religions of dharma, Christianity proclaims that only absolute freedom from the bo***ge of sin is what will liberate us into salvation. It is obvious to both religions that this is hardly possible in one mere lifetime. The idea of a “purgatory” after death has been taught in Catholicism, but is rejected in Eastern Orthodoxy. The Liberal Catholic Church takes up the teaching of the early church father Origen: that souls must reincarnate, and this agrees with Eastern teachings. But nevertheless, souls can wander in and out of incarnation, trapped in the undertow of samsara without any progression on their own. This is why a divine teacher is a necessary mercy. Just as a true guru can remove the karma of his disciples, so too does Jesus take on the penalty of sin for his followers.”
“But this was not the end of the shocks I experienced that day with Devi Amma. The biggest surprise followed. On my question: Where was I born and lived in my previous human body? The answer that followed simply froze me. Devi Ama said, “You were born in Puttaparthi. You had six years of intense companionship with the boy who would become Sai Baba. When Sai Baba went to another town for education, you, in sorrow for Him, jumped into a well and drowned. Baba wasn’t there to save you.” After this answer, I asked Devi Amma an additional question: “Does that mean I am the child from the well that Sai Baba talked about in His book about His early childhood? Devi Ama briefly said, “Yes, you are the child from the well.” What to say after such a statement? I tried with all my might to hold back the tears that surged through closed eyelids. Nothing could stop them.”
“Embodiments of Love!
Any task undertaken with self-confidence ensures success. Therefore, self-confidence is absolutely essential for every person. If you expect others to respect and love you, you should respect and love them equally. Without respecting or loving others, you cannot expect any reciprocal feeling from others. In the same way, if you love God, God loves you. Life consists of reaction, resound and reflection. You exactly get back what you do to others.”
