Why does my new instrument keep going out of tune?

New strings stretch quite a bit, so it may be that they’re still in that stretchy phase. If they stop going out of tune so badly after a day or two, then that was the problem. It could also be that your pegs are slipping and may need some peg dope. That will help them hold in the box better.🎶
