21 weeks after surgery…

I’m happy to share that I’m 95% recovered, still some minor bone bruising, can’t sit Japanese style, can’t squat all the way.

Cut all the refined carbs that I’ve been indulging myself for 4 straight months, finally lost a little bit of fat ( it’s not easy to burn fat 有咁風流有咁折墮 ）, retrieved some muscle mass, still taking care of my skin babies, it’s all good !

I can do , woohoo!

Reminder: my daughter is due in September, I’ll be on a standby PoPo mode, so there’ll be NO OCTOBER shipment to HKG.

9 weeks after surgery:

I’m recovering very well, can’t run or jump but I can walk without aid. Can do some basic with limited range, can’t kneel, tweak or bend my knee more than 90 degrees yet.

With every experience, we always learn and gain something from it…who knew standing upright or even walking could be such a luxury!?! The to drive and go get a professional haircut yesterday could give me so much joy !
This accident made me appreciate life more than ever. I feel very and extremely that I’m alive and recovering so well! And of course, I gained a few pounds and a small percentage of fat, oh well…

Btw, remember that unwanted friend, ? She’s gone, woohoo 🥳.

3 weeks after surgery:

Had my post-op X-ray and follow up with my ortho surgeon Dr. G today, all stitches and staples removed, OUCH…he said I’m recovering very well, and he wanted me to start walking…wait…what? Seriously? He said YES! He also mentioned that it’s going to hurt but walking will help me heal and recover faster!

Dr. G is 32 yrs old, look at that cute thing 😍

Thank you very much for all your loving concerns…

I’m home, , is constant and I’m doing my best dealing/managing it ! It’s going to be a LONG journey but I have confidence that I’ll achieve full recovery.

The X-ray was taken right after the accident, yes, it’s bad!

I’ll live, it’s just a ! Surgery was a success, I have an rods and nails to stabilize my tibia forever, say hello to bionic woman !!

I swear I’ll never get on the slope during a snow storm ever again…!!

Don’t worry, I’m under great care and having some dreamy grey’s anatomy moments here, coz my doctors are SO HANDSOME! 🥰😍

Today, December 11 is my baby sister's birthday, Happy birthday Bibi !

On Nov 20, 2022, a new friend came into my life, her name is " Alopecia areata ". I was getting ready to go to a dinner party and discovered this bald patch ( 4-5 cm in diameter ) on top of my head.

Was I devastated? YES !

Was I so upset that I couldn't move on with my life? NO, I wiped off a few tears, fixed myself up and attended the party with a smile on me.

It's not the end of the world ! Instead of hiding, I'm sharing my journey with you peeps because there's a chance that I might lose all my hair one day, and I don't want you to be in shock if you see me ! I'm currently receiving treatment, however, there's no guarantee that it'll work. It is what it is, we all know that we should accept things that we cannot change, right?!
