A lot of the children were surprised to discover that Yoga was not just about relaxation and sitting still! Hope this introduction has sparked new interest for this fascinating and so enriching field!

Improves Balance and Coordination: Ardha Chandrasana challenges your sense of balance and coordination. Practicing this pose helps improve your overall balance and enhances proprioception, which is your awareness of the position and movement of your body in space.

Strengthens Leg Muscles: This pose engages the muscles in your standing leg, particularly the quadriceps, hamstrings, and calf muscles. It also strengthens the muscles in the hip, helping to stabilize the joint.

Tones the Abdominal Muscles: While balancing on one leg, you engage your core muscles to maintain stability. This helps in toning and strengthening the abdominal muscles, including the obliques.

Chinese New Year Yoga Camp: The Year of the Ox for kids aged 7 to 9.

By the way: anybody knows what an ox is? Is it a cow? A bull? A buffalo? Or any of these? What attributes does the Ox have in the Chinese Zodiac? This is what the kids discovered today through stories and related yoga games😊 A good formula to learn more about this powerful and helpful animal but also to work on our strength, flexibility, balance, concentration and above all to have a lot of fun!!
