Tongue Position
Did you know how you place your tongue in your mouth will affect your tone?
My sound became so much better once I started placing the tip of my tongue BEHIND my bottom teeth when singing the vowels. Make sure the tip touches the back of the teeth.
Your tongue holds a lot of tension too. Try to relax it as you sing. You'll have a lot more freedom.

But you know what? It REALLY works!
Straw phonation is the latest craze in the singing community and for good reason.
It allows you to focus on your breathing and pitch without having to be concerned over lyrics.
It also isolates your breathing so it can be expelled through the straw.
Make a tight seal around the straw with your lips and exhale through it using an 'OOH' sound. You should sound like you are humming through the straw.
The next time you get a milk shake at McDonald's, don't chuck the straw. Hold onto it and phonate through it...after you rinse it out in the bathroom. 😉

Fifteen years ago, I couldn't sing a lick. Well, I could a bit but it wasn't very pleasant. I had no idea how to harmonize and flipped into falsetto at Gb4 after pulling my chest voice through my mix and into my head voice.
In 2008, I discovered SLS (Speech Level Singing) via Brett Manning and his 'Singing Success' home program. That helped me a great deal and I soon purchased Seth Riggs' 'Singer's Advantage' program and that helped even more. I worked on both of them diligently for the next two years.
In 2010, I got an email from a guy who claimed to be a former student of Seth's and he offered his full 'Singing Made Simple' program to me at a great price. I persuaded my wife to get it for my birthday present and that led to a personal relationship with the creator, Roger Burnley. He was the personal coach of Macy Gray and Brandi, so I knew he knew his stuff.
Roger was a tremendous help in placing my sound and helping me smooth out my passagios (Yes, I know fancy Italian words). He even gave me a free 15 minute Skype lesson that turned into 40 minutes because of his generosity. He FIXED my voice and helped me win numerous song contests and place in others.
On 3/3/2019, I got to perform in front of a crowd of over 800 at a big hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui with local professionals Rex Chow and Didi Mak. It was a blast! That all came about because of what I will teach you through Voice Fix.
