你知道嗎？其實看似無害的牛皮骨，卻是狗狗最致命的玩具！

牛皮骨不是骨頭，而是皮革製品，通常由乾燥的牛或馬皮製作，製作時會先將動物皮泡在具有腐蝕性的石灰溶劑裡去除皮上的毛髮，再用漂白水淡化毛皮顏色並且消毒，因此市售的牛皮骨都還有漂白水的成分☠️☠️☠️

為了防止製作牛皮骨的乾燥動物皮腐爛，必須添加一定份量的防腐劑.
為了讓外觀好看，牛皮骨漂白之後會用染劑上色。

此外，有些廠商會再添加化學香氣，讓骨頭聞起來更美味、更吸引狗狗。
所以牛皮骨五彩繽紛的顏色和香氣全都是人工添加物！

牛皮骨雖然堅韌，卻能被狗狗的口水軟化。若家中狗狗直接將碎牛皮骨吞下肚，可能會導致消化道或腸胃的刮傷腸胃不適、消化不良。

嚴重時，更會造成狗狗 塞腸。
塞腸這是很危險的情況………….

The truth is, rawhide is an industrial waste product.

The reason rawhide chews are so cheap is they’re made out of tons of leftover scraps

Rawhide processing involves toxic chemicals, and the chews are flavored with a smorgasbord of hazardous compounds.


Generally speaking, rawhides are not easily digested, which is why large chunks broken off and swallowed pose such high obstruction risks.

Any pieces your pup breaks off will have to pass through his digestive system in chunks, since they will not be broken down as well as the rest of his food.
