【草地的秘密】
步入 #富衛1881公館，許多人都會被一大片綠油油的草地吸引。漫步其間，心曠神怡。

根據古物古蹟辦的資訊，在日治時期，水警總部的草地下原來建造了大規模的地下通道。二次大戰後，為安全起見，才封閉了地下通道，並重鋪草地。

下次造訪 #富衛1881公館 ，記得來發掘更多歷史的痕跡。

【Secrets of the Lawn】
Upon entering , many are drawn to the large and verdant lawn. Strolling through it is a calming and soothing experience.

According to the Antiquities and Monuments Office, during the Japanese occupation, a massive underground tunnel was in fact constructed beneath the Marine Police Headquarter's lawn. After World War II, the underground tunnel was sealed for safety reasons, and the lawn was then replanted.

Excited to announce that this January, FWD HOUSE 1881 will be exhibiting New Ink Art “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙨” by local artist John Wong. His artworks aim to inspire joy and festiveness with unique point-line-plane structures and bright colours. 　

The beautiful and expressive collection of his artwork is a combination of traditional Chinese ink art and contemporary Western art. Discover more by visiting FWD HOUSE 1881 and support our local artist.
