βI've ordered Frank's apple crumble cake several times already for parties and get togethers and it has been a huge hit each time. It's become my go-to dessert if I want to impress people. The crumble is beautifully baked with just the right amount of pastry and filling. Frank also can tailor it to tastes, making it more tart when I had requested a less sweet version. Ordering and delivery has also been really easy. I'm looking forward to trying his other products, but I just can seem to turn down an opportunity to have the apple crumble cake!β

Natural, uncomplicated and utterly delicious are a few words I would use to describe the little slices of heaven that my grandmother and later my mother would frequently bake for my family and I growing up in Germany. I still have such vivid memories of the smells of Kuchen wafting through the house at the weekend. One slice was simply never enough. Kuchen or German cake was simple back then. None of the fancy frosting and artistry that goes into cake baking nowadays. For me a slice of homemade German cake topped with seasonal fruit and sprinkles of love will always be my first choice over a Michelin star baked cake any day. Work and travels over the years had kept me away from my beloved cake. It wasnβt until my family and I got stuck in Europe during the Covid-19 outbreak that I had the chance to revisit the familiar smells and tastes that had kept me so nostalgic all these years. During the social distancing lockdown, my mother and I baked and baked just like we used to. My life has changed so much since then, but that unforgettable taste of home never changes. Still natural, still delicious and one slice was still never enough. Finally, back in Hong Kong again where I have lived for the past 10 years; I want to share these little slices of heaven.
