Malaika Mfalme is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and event producer from Tanzania and Australia, currently creating on Gadigal Land in Sydney. In Swahili, Malaika's name translates to Angel King. Their music delves into themes of black love, self-acceptance, grief, and the complex journey of loving and sometimes losing. Malaika's music aims to create a healing space, promoting messages of kindness, acceptance, and introspection in each of their musical creations. With ink-stained fingers dancing on the guitar and silky vocals harmonized with a looping pedal, Mfalme's music resonates with the essence of an angel. Their debut album "Yasmin" is available for streaming on all platforms.
