Highlights:
🔹 Overall Group non-IFRS revenues increased 10% YoY to HK$136 million
🔹 OSL digital asset platform non-IFRS revenues increased 25% YoY to HK$105 million
🔹 OSL digital asset platform volume increased 79% YoY to HK$214 billion
🔹 Service fees from OSL SaaS increased 332% YoY to HK$15 million
🔹 SaaS trading volume increased 134% YoY to HK$11 billion

The 香港金融管理局 Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the 證監會 Securities and Futures Commission issued a joint circular today, allowing registered institutions and licensed corporations to provide digital asset investment services by partnering only with SFC-licensed virtual asset trading platforms.

As an SFC-regulated digital asset platform, regulatory compliance and customer safety is built into OSL’s DNA. OSL and BC Technology Group (Stock Code: 863 HK) strongly support the policies and procedures in this circular as well as those set forth by the SFC in reference to regulated digital assets over the past several years.

BC科技集團（00863）執行董事刁家駿出席研討會時表示，現時有不少投資者透過不受監管的平台投資加密資產，對受監管平台的業務造成衝擊，令監管機構不可再忽視加密資產的運作模式。他指出，現時大多數主要國際金融中心的政策方向逐漸趨於一致，而現時市面上亦有愈來愈多投資組合及產品涉及加密貨幣，引起監管風險。

關於NFT買賣應否受到監管，他認為NFT背後所涉及的技術應用範疇廣泛，包括音樂、藝術等知識產權的追蹤，難以籠統地劃一規管。不過，由於貴重資產或會被用來洗黑錢，目前很多法規開始關注拍賣行和其他中介人等把關者的角色。

Gary Tiu, Executive Director of BC Technology Group, was quoted in Sing Tao Daily, commenting on the HKMA's recent discussion paper on stablecoins, pointing out that digital asset policy is gradually converging in most major international financial centers, and that more investors are participating in the space.

When asked about NFT's Gary stated that he sees the technical applications of the technology and products as wide-ranging, citing the ability to track intellectual property rights for music and art, and He added that NFT regulations are currently primarily focused on the role of gatekeepers such as auction houses to prevent money laundering.
