Training schedule was kept the same 5-6days lifting / week. Iโve added a little walking here and there but nothing strick. The only huge difference is I switch to my precision meals made from recipes developed for my F&B venture. I made sure to keep my daily caloric consumption between 1500-1650cals a day. This is still on the high side for most women my height but I tend to loose more muscle than fat if I go lower so slow and steady wins the game. Between day 1 and today there was 1 scheduled โre-feedโ on .mays_pt birthday weekend๐ฅณ November is tough as itโs also my sonโs birthday, making burgers and cake while prepping is harder than all the days of prepping put together.
Secret to ladies IS knowing how to psychologically be ok holding more water and weight on your body during training season. To the untrained eye water retention would look like โfatโ - put a blanket over a well sculpted statue would dull the details but if building muscle is what you want to do know that you are not alone. We have seasons for growth and seasons of harvest, it feels damn good to be in the driver seat on your health no matter if anyone else understands it or not.

Iโm sharing these behind the scenes shots of weigh ins, body fat testing, macros manipulations, so you can see how a female who eats to lift heavy with MUSCLE GAIN is the goal and eating large and gaining โoff season weight is part of the journeyโ we have FATLOSS down to a science through precision macros meal plans. Even under our roof with 5 โeatersโ and 3 โpreppersโ we all pretty much each the same ingredients but everything is not only clean and sugarfree, preppers are eating portions to their plans.
This is the first time Iโve decided to
share my โcut phaseโ publicly not due to anything other than I am always completely consumed with focus on nailing my prep I just donโt have the attention or time to document the milestones to put up for you.
This time is different, 2 yrs of Covid has affected so many people on multiple levels and where health and wellness is concerned many people are struggling with loosing the extra pounds of stress that came on as a result of gym lockdowns etc so Iโve set up in-depth chats with a few clients who are embarking on their โeating properly educationโ learning about macros for the first time hence I have things to share here with you.
Non of these ladies have officially started on their plans yet but are laying the foundation before we hit go and run to the finish line with it.
I have been fortunate enough to have a mother who understands well as she competed in many shows in female bodybuilding 20yrs back, and a Chinese Grandmother who doesnโt lay the pressure on me to eat at family gatherings if I have chosen to pull back, from my own experience it helps tremendously to have a support system while you attempt to shift habits Iโve opened invitation to those who want to learn how to crack their own fatloss code to join me.
Iโd like to call these โfatloss experiencesโ where I am doing it with you side-by-side. I work with small groups and lead those who are ready to learn how to achieve their lifelong dream of control over their body fat levels. Why control rather than just reach it? Because letโs face it if you love food youโre not going to be eating like a bird for the rest of your life๐ Learning how to properly so you can choose better for yourself is the key to shifting to a healthier lifestyle, But once in a while if you have parties or occasions where calories are more abundant you are going to put on some weight, One or 2 cal rich meals wonโt make anybody put on fat but sometimes it can go on for a couple more days or even weeks - In reality learning how to bring how back to your โhappy๏ฟผ๏ฟผ weightโ whenever you want to is the most liberating knowledge any money can buy.

Fast forward to our present times and though fitness seems to be more integrated there are still many who have not experienced the amazing benefits of weight lifting. Hereโs a piece from the present celebrity doctor Mark Hyman, MD promotes weight training, he says heโd start lifting when heโs 60 but for full benefits for living your best life lifting can begin as early as in adolescent years. Point is, unless youโre out living in a cottage chopping wood and working the land daily, we all need to lift and itโs never too late to start to reap massive benefits. 3 times a week minimum and for those for ambitious 5-6 times a week can build some serious muscle to offset extra calories to keep our internal health in check plus it promotes awesome energy that go beyond basic living.

Learning how to train intensely with your body weight leaning on your surroundings means even if the gymโs busy youโll still get an awesome workout without ever worrying about if your favorite equipment is busy. Get good at some basics and you can even do most of these in your next quarentine or the parks when the weather gets cooler if you prefer to be outside! ๐ช๐ผโ๏ธ๐ฏ

40โs is a mix of a little regret of not being even more careful with taking care of me, itโs about feeling ok to put (even) more time into self care and accepting that is the only gift that can keep on giving. ๐๐ข๐ช? By beginning with the pecs fully loaded in the stretched position - each rep starts at the hardest phase of the lift. Itโs more difficult to execute as there is no assistance via pre loading or momentum.
Each life is just you, your muscles and genuine power.
And the pause at the start of each rep gives you time to re-establish your technique. With better movements come greater results.
