The detail in design.

One year ago we opened our second FRANCIS, this time finding culinary inspiration from the maghreb region.

provided the designers touch to 42 Peel Street, capturing a feel reminiscent to the courtyards of Morocco and intimate tapas bars of Southern Spain.

It is important for us to put as much love and time into our vegetarian options as our breads, meat and seafood dishes.

Using different cooking techniques allows these vegetables to express their truest flavours.

Friends, meze and wine lovers….sometimes misfortune is opportunity. After the challenge of the last few years, we now feel it’s the right time to bring you another FRANCIS. Only this time we will specialise in dishes from the Maghreb, the region of North Africa bordering the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, which includes Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and Morocco.

Maghreb is an Arabic term meaning “place where the sun sets” or “west”, hence

This weekend will be special. is back and we are so excited to be dishing up our loved hummus, shawarma and merguez.

Here it all starts with homemade bread. Our team of chefs are rolling thousands of Moroccan frena rolls to house the spiced meats.

New dish at FRANCIS.

Marinda tomatoes are grown in Sicily during the winter months and harvested between February and May. The soil and water in this area give this variety a complex and unparalleled flavour consisting of salty, fruity, and tart notes with an acidic, umami finish.
