Have you hurt your loved one unintentionally and you could not suck it back?
Here are 7 ways to mend the situation:
1. Acknowledge and accept: Accept that you've made a mistake.
2. Apologize sincerely: Say sorry genuinely. It's not just about the words, but also the sincerity behind them. Make sure to communicate that you did not intend to cause harm.
3. Express your feelings: let them know that you feel bad about hurting them. this shows your loved one that you're remorseful and can also help in mending the relationship.
4. Ask for forgiveness: this might not come immediately, but it's an important step.
5. Learn and change: identify what caused the situation in the first place and how you can avoid it in the future. Demonstrating change is often the best way to show you are sorry.
6. Give them space: if they need some time alone to process their feelings, respect that. Patience can be key in these situations.
7. Rebuild trust: healing takes time. Be patient with them and with yourself as you both work to rebuild trust.

Forgiveness is a powerful tool that can have a profound impact on our physical and emotional wellbeing.
When we forgive someone there are several biological changes that occur in the body that can contribute to healing on a cellular level.
One of the main changes that occurs during forgiveness is decrease in stress response.
Holding onto anger and resentment can activate the body’s stress response system which can lead to a number of negative health outcomes, including increased inflammation, weakened immune system, and higher risk for chronic disease.
When we forgive, we activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which can help to counteract the negative effects of stress on the immune system.
It also does increase the production of immune cells, such as T and B cells, which can help to fight off infections and other diseases.
Another way forgiveness can promote healing on a cellular level is through the release of positive neurochemicals, such as dopamine and oxytocin.
These can help reduce stress, promote feeling of happiness and wellbeing.
