Grand Master Chia is a legendary Tao teacher, the creator of the Healing Tao, Tao Yoga, Universal Healing Tao System, and Tao Garden Health Spa & Resort, located in the beautiful northern countryside of Chiang Mai, Thailand. The author of more than 60 books on Taoist practices, Mantak Chia has taught countless enthusiastic students the principles of Taoist internal arts over the past years. His books have been translated into more than 40 languages, which has made the Universal Healing Tao System global Universal Healing Tao

In this interview Lola Lhamo asks GM Chia how he envisages New Earth community, and what he recommends to those who aspires in creating much needed shift towards more humane society, operating with respect to the planet and each other.

This film is a must see as expats living in beautiful Bali where our demand for "products" to make us more beautiful is constant. Did you ever stop to wonder where those raw materials come from? and who might be suffering so you can have the latest hari conditioner??

This film is highlighting the continued challenges facing the Dayaks, through the merciless destruction of their homelands. However, this is not destruction that is happening in isolation, but which will haunt the emerging generations worldwide.

Over the last decades, the Dayak land has been appropriated by palm oil companies, logging companies, and gold miners.
We are talking about one of the oldest rainforests in the world. A precious source of life and a lifeline for us all, regardless of where we live.

Even though Borneo is only a short flight from Bali news of the destruction via deforestation still remains largely silent here...let alone in the rest of the world.

This short documentary was featured at the event. It is beautifully shot and carefully narrated. The message I took from it was that even if might seem that the struggle of the Dayak's has little to do with us, it is our addiction to "products" and material "success" that fuels the fires which follow in the wake of the decimated trees.

Please share. As hard as it may seem to break patterns, there are some lifestyle changes we no longer have a choice to make, but a duty to change. Refusing to buy palm oil-infused products, that come at the cost of Borne's forests, is one.
