All over Bali you will find so many delicious dishes on offer, from spicy sambal to succulent satay. Some treasures can be found at either the restaurants, the markets or the smallest street vendors.
A few of my favorite dishes are below: -
**Babi Guling**: This is Bali's classic roast pork dish, where a whole pig is stuffed with Balinese spices and slowly spit-roasted over a fire. The result is a crispy skin and tender meat that melts in your mouth.
**Lawar**: This is a salad-like dish made of chopped vegetables, coconut milk, minced meat and Balinese spices. It can be red or white, depending on whether it contains pig blood or not. it is a refreshing and flavorful side dish.
**Bebek Betutu**: This is a duck dish that is stuffed with lemongrass, ginger, onion and other spices, wrapped in banana leaf and roasted in a pit. The duck meat is juicy and aromatic and goes well with rice and sambal.
