I attended the National Sprint Rally race in Tanjung Lesung, and to my races, I always use my Innova. It fits a lot of things, its fast, economical, and reliable ofc. However, its a rwd mpv that can only go off-road to a certain extent. So, my sponsor kindly lent me their Hilux in order to use for track surveys (which the terrain can get brutal if it rains). These two cars suffered a lot from fast driving on the highway, potholes, being driven in mud and through small rocks, and also driven fast on a rally circuit. And they did not once complain. And also it’s worth mentioning my rally car is a Yaris.

one year and three months ownership review (yes, i’m three months late): at just under 14,000 kilometers, people say “you’ve gone mad bro, its only a year old!” but what’s the point of a car if you don’t drive it?! i wanna be able to enjoy it, for me at least. took delivery of this car in may 2019 and what a journey it has been. first few thoughts that came to mind when i first drove it was how loud the exhaust was and how sturdy the build quality is (i had the r56 cs before this car and the build quality is night and day difference). next is the clarity and bass from the Harman Kardon speakers. then all the small “quirks and features” you find. but the overall ambiance and vibe you get when being hugged by those JCW bucket seats (i think in collaboration with Recaro?) with all the ambient lighting, can’t be beaten. ultimately, lets not forget about the true spirit of a JCW, the go-kart feeling. how this car handles corners is really next-level sh*t! especially with the help of adaptive dampers, and the soundtrack from the JCW exhaust 🤤 if i had to say something annoying about this car, it would be that when driving slowly (especially in the city), the tr**ny could be a bit jerky (keep in mind this is not a dct) and because i use this car almost everyday, the suspension in comfort mode is a bit more towards the rough side. but that being said, i can’t wait to take him on more adventures and make more unforgettable memories.

on behalf of this car’s owner. is a place where both your car and yourself can get freshened up! i was surprised when i first went into to, ultimately just wash my car. but then realized its more than just a car wash. i was ultimately amazed at the car detailing/coating area. all the workers seemed to be trained professionally and seemed to have all the necessary bits for a high-end car salon. i even had this car coated here, and i was very very happy with the result!

is everything you need in a place to chill. you got one of the most well-known barbers in town, a coffee shop that sells drinks that will make you want to order again, and lets not forget the main attraction of its famous car wash. i consider myself a really big petrolhead and i love seeing my car all clean and shiny. this is why i always go to to wash my car. the result never disappoints.
