VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - MURAL PAINTING
12pm on Saturday 9 September at Basketball Court, Village Green, Lough Gowna.
Hi everyone. We are finally ready to start painting the mural on the wall opposite the Basketball Court. We’d love some volunteers to help paint the amazing mural Anna Poshowska has designed (featuring the flowers drawn in our mural design workshop). We’ll be there from 12pm on Saturday 9 September.
Loch Gowna Tidy Towns has secured funding from and for a number of arts based workshops, and the design and painting of a mural. More workshops are planned for August.
We would like to ask the village of Gowna if you would like to have a mural on the proposed site at the back of the ball alley (the wall opposite the basketball court in the village green). If the mural was agreed to, we would arrange a ‘mural design workshop’ for families to design their own piece which will be included in the final mural. The theme of the mural is the environment / bee friendly / flowers / Loch Gowna.
We will post a poll on our Loch Gowna Tidy Towns page - please cast your vote. We will also leave a voting sheet in the post office.
Please contact us if you have any questions.
