What a fabulous hot sunny day in Ireland 🌞

Recently my friends gave me a good few scallop shells and one of them that my mam gave it to me from 30 years ago or more… and it came from Wexford.
Today I decided to stay inside to cool myself down and I made all the fun with decoupage papers and napkin papers.. choose the favourite ones I like.

Seen the pics above to show u how to do the decoupling shells.

1. Clean the shells and dry very well.

2. A cup of cold water, dry clean flat brush, waterbase sealer glue gloss or Matt (I used gloss) and a gold permanent marker or (the gold leaf papers if u prefer) I used a gold maker.

3. I choose the favourite decoupage paper sheets and napkins first. I Ironed the napkin papers to removed the back of the sheet that u don’t need it. Sip the cold water with brush and glue them together on shell then put a decoupage paper on it then more glue on it, please brush it very gently to avoid to break it or tear them. Don’t tear them around the edge wait till dry after few hours. I left them outside the sunshine to dry them quickly. Then I filed all around the edge to remove the paper easily. Then a gold maker around the edge to make look pretty and neatly. Aren’t they pretty?
