Congratulations to Cian and Mairead who I married in The Rochestown Park Hotel, with the help of their little son Charlie. He was the life and soul of the ceremony. Wishing this beautiful couple a life time of love and happiness.

Last weekend, I performed a wedding for an American couple at Newtown castle in Co Clare.They wanted a celtic ceremony with handfasting and jump the broom. Their ribbons were red, white , blue and green, and gold.
I also incorporated the Claddagh in the ceremony for friendship loyalty and love.
The flowers were stunning from Lawless flowers. The musicians played violins and a harp. Dream Irish weddings were the wedding planner, who were fantasticto deal with.
Everything was on point, except the Irish weather, which was blowing a mini tornado. The bridal party had stunning dresses in blackwatch tartan, which were very unusual but stunning. Wishing Lisa and Paul a beautiful life together.

The sun finally shone today for a ceremony in Ballyseedy Castle in Tralee. This is a magnificent venue with a purpose built "chapel" for ceremonies. The grounds are stunning and there is a welcoming party of animals including two huge Irish wolf hounds. I think I could get used to being lady of the Manor.

Congratulations to Sarah and Lee who I was honoured to marry at the Maryborough Hotel, Cork. They had a beautiful ceremony and for personal reasons bluebells were incorporated into their very personal ceremony. Bluebells represent everlasting love. Congratulations to Trevor and Gillian, who I had the pleasure of marrying at the Cork International Airport Hotel. They literally "tied the knot" with a handfasting with different coloured ribbons. Each colour represented values that were personal to them. Best wishes to this beautiful couple.

A beautiful way to include a father or grandfather who may have passed in a wedding ceremony is to use a personal item like their necktie for a handfasting. Martin from IT suits Menswear spotted he had a necktie that matched my brand colour and gifted it to me. Thank you.

I was working in Midleton Park Hotel this weekend for the first time, and I was not disappointed. It has a beautiful ceremony room and a beautiful ballroom room with access to a beautiful courtyard, they also have a fantastic playroom just off the ballroom. It was filled with toys miniature furniture for the mini VIPs.
There was a stylist wine reception and delicious canapés and tiny desserts and scones for those preferng teas and coffee.
Martina the wedding coordinator and her crew, are fantastic to work. I'm delighted to be one of their suppliers and looking forward to working here again.

Usually when I speak about the coloured ribbons at a handfasting ceremony. Yellow is thd colour of friendship, the colour of joy and happiness. Today yellow is the colour of defiance, the colour of courage, hope, and joy. The colour of fighting and defeating cancer. This incideous disease that has devastated lives and families.
The little daffodil was the star today. A ray of sunshine and hope and happy evef afters.
