Before and after of a recent redesign of a farmhouse living room. The feeling and look of a room can change dramatically for the better, when the right colours, furniture, lighting and accessories are in place. Obsessed!!! Check out what I am loving in interiors below…👇 1. Burlwood - is a grain characteristic in certain woods that give a very unique look when used in furniture. It’s naturally occurring and its intricate grains adds to its aesthetic appeal to really make a statement in your home. 2. Shagreen Leather - offers a really unique and opulent rich texture to furniture, whether it’s stand alone or bespoke items, including upholstery, giving a luxurious look and feel. 3. Colour drenching - painting the walls, ceiling and woodwork in the same colour. This makes the space feel intimate. A small space will benefit as visually there is no break in colour so will make the space feel larger. 4. Skiffers - decorative pieces that are added to the corners of skirting boards, to prevent scuffs and damage. Tell me in the comments below would you use any of these in your home? #designobsessed #designer #interiordesigner

One of the first questions I always ask my clients when I’m designing their homes, is how do you want the space to feel? Colour can significantly affect our mood, our creativity, our concentration and can affect the ambience of a space. Reds and yellows can make a space feel positive and bring joy, while blues and greens are very soothing. Black brings an air of grace and elegance. Tell me how do you want your home to feel? Mention it in the comments! If you need help with choosing colours for your home, dm me or email [email protected]

How the process works? Send me a DM or email [email protected]. We will start with a discovery call to understand your needs and find out which package suits you. I’ll send you a design questionnaire to gather essential information about your preferences and style, and how you use the space. I’ll call to your home for measurements and photos, and a more in-depth talk about your requirements. This allows me to tailor your design to your specific needs and the unique characteristics of the space and provide you with a beautiful, functional design that works for you and your family. Your perfect home is just a message away. I would love to Create the home you Love to live in 💜 Now taking bookings for September 2024.

Hello everyone 👋 A little bit of an introduction to me and my business… My name is Michelle and my business is an Interior design business called Michelle Fox Interiors. I am from Tipperary but am living in West Cork. I am married to Jerry and we have three children and two dogs. I have had a passion for interiors since we bought our first home 16 years ago, and considered it a hobby for many years, whilst working in the Corporate world in Pensions. During Covid, I took the leap, studied with the Interior Design Academy of Ireland and I started designing rooms for family and friends, posted on my socials and this generated lots of interest. I set up my business 1 year and 5 months ago and absolutely love my work!! My design ethos is Creating the home you love to live in. I’ve designed homes in Cork, Tipperary, Kerry and Limerick and am currently booked up until September 2024, with lots of exciting projects. First time posting a reel with me talking in it, kept it short 🙈 Thank you for the follow, I really appreciate it and thank you for reading this far! 🙏 And yes, I still get asked “Could you look at my pension statement for me?!!!” 😄🙈 Michelle 💜

A lovely afternoon at Celtic Interiors today for their 30th celebration, where I had a lovely chat with Derek who showed me around their stunning showroom, including the new Vermont collection, and the fabulous walk in pantry with the luxurious Xtone finish. I got to chat with Niall in Rubiomonocoat Ireland about their fabulous range of oils they offer for a stunning finish on raw wood. Rubio Monocoat is a plant-based hardwax oil wood finish that is 0% VOC. Lots of information on Bora cooking systems, and luxury flooring from Matt Britton who I am already a fan of. An enjoyable afternoon and a lovely goodie bag to take home with me!! Thanks Derek and Celtic Interiors.

Bedroom design for a repeat client. I love returning to design a space for a repeat client who I feel I already know their personality and they trust in the vision. Stepping back into a home where the downstairs has already been designed by Michelle Fox Interiors and they are now ready to start upstairs! Plans are for a Primary bedroom with a moody, luxurious finish including lots of storage. 🤩
