Some magic from last weeks lights switch on ! 🎅🎅

What a success tonight, Aghabullogue is well and truly glowing 🎄🎄 thanks to you all who came out tonight in the cold to share the spirit of Christmas amongst our community, to the talented boys and girls of our Aghabullogue National School played instruments so well , to the parents association for the help and treats for the kids, and to the most amazing Santa and handsome elf to ever visit us , everyone was in awe of him, he arrived in style and left some great memories to the little ones it was worth it all to see those little faces 🎅🎅🎅
Huge thanks once again to all our volunteers who gave so much time in preparing, and to Cork County CouncilCork County Council for the support and grants made available to us. . We hope ye enjoy our Christmas lights 🎄🎄🎄

It's officially Christmas in Cork!!

Happy Dec 1st ! Tonight’s the night we get to make our little village sparkle , put on the wooly coat and be there for 6.30pm ! We have a very jolly guest arriving to spread some excitement for the kiddies 🎅 and our eldest boy Donnacha and eldest girl Lena May have the honour of turning on our lights 🎅🎅🎅Can we say a massive thanks to all our Volunteers who put so much hard work into making this happen and also to our new neighbours in Gort Alainn who came onboard this year to help out 👏👏thanks to Cork County Council for the funding and support, to Cllr Eileen Lynch who made it all happen for us , to the community who supported our fundraising and anyone who helped in any way at all we thank you ! We hope you all get some enjoyment from our Xmas village and next year maybe we will shine some more , Happy Christmas everyone 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

We would like to give a huge thanks to the volunteers who came out today to put up the new lights in the village, the work is a huge task and time given each year to make our village shine bright at Christmas, without them our little village would be very dull …we look forward to seeing you all next Friday Dec 1st at 6.30 when we will have the eldest girl and boy in our school switch them on with the countdown 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎅🧑‍🎄🎅🧑‍🎄

Our table winners the Black n Tan RFC last night well done what a great night was had and the support and generosity from our community was just fantastic to all our sponsors a massive thanks to you all , to our quiz master Ann Carey who did a fantastic job and made it so much fun , to Kathryn our score board expert well done, Laura Kate , Annmarie, Breeda, Linda , Tracey , Miriam , Bernie , Paddy , and everyone who made it a great success last night we can’t thank ye enough ..👏👏👏 It was so lovely to see so many new faces of our lovely new neighbours who have come to live in Aghabullogue and settle in and make new friends and be apart of our community and help it grow…
We made close to a whopping 1400 last night !!! Aghabullogue village will definitely shine this year and going forward be look forward to building on this and fundraising more this year…
