We just had an impromptu visit from our old friend Jorge Ruiz Villasante. Jorge had been a super active volunteer with us since 2012 after he won a travel award to India until he left Ireland last summer on his bike. Jorge cycled from Cork where he resided for 17 years and travelled the length of Ireland over to the UK, down to mainland Europe where he travelled through 9 more countries before returning back to his hometown of Madrid. Today he popped into the office after cycling up the length of Spain and France over to Ireland and back to The People's Republic of Cork. Jorge wanted to send a huge warm regards to all of our volunteers who he misses dearly.
