5 things I wish I knew about training when I started lifting👇🏽

There is not one specific list but with so much information people say and what you see on social media , it can be hard to know where to start and what to believe! I hope this can help as a good start or reminder for you🫶🏽

1. Following a training program is so important. It might be repetitive but that’s where you see the changes. If you want to get stronger and build muscle, repeating the same exercises week after week is what’s going to get you there.

2. Rest days are extremely important . Choose another form of movement and give yourself time to recover!

3. Workouts are as challenging as you make them. If they feel to easy for you , it’s entirely up to you to change that & challenge & push yourself!!!

4. Form > everything. Do not add weight to a movement if you feel you’re form is incorrect.

5. Be patient with the process , it truly takes time. Enjoy the process. Stop asking yourself when you’ll see results , changes , progress , otherwise you’ll miss out on it happening and will never be satisfied.
