A year ago today we lost this wonderful man to Covid. A mainstay of Co-Motion Theatre Company in the 80s and 90s as lighting designer, photographer and director; afterwards a noted filmmaker and kindly mentor to so many: we recall our former colleague and friend with love, and send our thoughts to Annabel, Ben and Ella on this difficult day of remembrance. The Co-Motion Media production of Joe O'Byrne's adaptation of Synge's "The Aran Islands", feauring the inimitable Brendan Conroy, has been filmed for online braodcast by the Irish Repertory Theatre of New York. It runs from 16th - 28th March and is available to view in Ireland and elsewhere in Europe. Remember that NYC is current 4 hours ahead of us in time, so the regular matinees (6pm or 7pm Irish time) might suit best. Tickets are free with a suggested donation, but must be reserved in order to get the link.
