Winning Streak for the Moloney Ladies 🏆👊🏻💃🏼

Day 2 highlights. Maria Moloney winner of the U14 solo drama (with the Cahil cup), in the middle her sister Eve Moloney who came third in the U9 poetry competition and her sister Lily Moloney who won the U11 solo drama today (pictured with cup) and gold in the U11 girls poetry yesterday. All attend Actors and Reactors drama school Ennis. Great day for the Moloney girls!

**BACK TO...SPEECH & DRAMA SCHOOL**

As students go back to school this week, we are opening our School of Speech & Drama enrolment. Actors + Reactors School of Speech & Drama will begin the 2019/20 term this September (week beginning Sep 16th) at Clare Language Centre, College Road, Ennis.

**PLEASE NOTE** Classes will take place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon/evening this year and class time and day will be determined by your child's age. We would ask you to forward the below form to [email protected], +353 86 0645454 or Private Message here to register your child's interest and we will then contact you with a comfirmed place, time and day on receipt.

What a wonderful week of performance it was for the Senior Students of Actors and Reactors topped off yesterday with a Senior Dramatic Scene Cup win for our take on Dancing at Lughnasa...This is a very special one, given the comradery and ensemble work exemplified by these ladies...each one played her part in her own unique way to tell the story. There is no “I” in team but many stars make up the galaxy ✨ Well done to each and everyone who worked hard and took to the stage at Feile Luimnigh this year

It’s not back to school time just yet (enjoy every last bit of those summer holidays folks!) but if you are planning to enrol your child for this year’s Speech and Drama term we are now officially taking bookings. We are delighted to announce the return of the Actors + Reactors End of Year Showcase at glór in aid of Elevate, Thursday 10th May 2018 at 7pm. Join us for an evening of dramatic extracts, poetry, mime, drama and recitals presented and performed by our talented young people as they support young people in their county. That's a wrap on another fantastic day at Féile Luimnigh with wonderful solo, duologue and for the very first time for Actors and Reactors' students, Shakespeare performances in the Anew McMaster Perpetual Cup. I am so proud of ALL of the students over the past few days and congratulations on all your hard work...one more to go...tomorrow's Senior Group Scene. Break a leg ladies 🎭

What a wonderful start to the Feile today...congrats to all who took part and a big shout out to our first Dramatic Solo performer, Grainne Droney, who was awarded a Silver medal U14 for her take on "After Juliet" 🙌🏻

Wishing all our Senior Students the very best of luck over the coming days as the 72nd Féile Luimnigh gets underway tomorrow morning at Mungret College, Limerick. Well done on all your hard work in preparation for this year's festival. Ailbhe, Elaine and I are very proud already 😊

Week two down and we've all become well acquainted at Actors and Reactors...what a wonderful bunch 😊 We predict a fantastic few months ahead!

One more sleep until Actors + Reactors School of Speech & Drama opens it's doors and welcomes students old and new for a brand new term! We are so excited to get started and would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to two faces you will see lots of throughout the year...joining Aoibhín are qualified Speech & Drama teachers Ailbhe Garrihy and Elaine Hayes.
