To Morrow Week, Sun. 19th we are having an informal run up the NEW Motorway, M18 / M17 to TUAM. Returning on the old N18, stopping in Claregalway for Lunch. The first car registered car in South Tipperary.
The car, HI-1, was registered in November 1903 and was owned by William P. and Dickie Burke, Grove, Fethard. The regular chauffeur of the car, a Gladiator 20-30 HP rear entrance Tonneau body, was Patrick Kenrick, Main Street, Fethard, who was also the first person to hold a driving licence. The Charleville Spring Run takes place on Sunday 9th April next and is in aid of St Joseph's Foundation Charleville. Cars, Commercials & Motorbikes welcome. Meeting from 10.30am at the Corbett Court Charleville. Refreshments served, entry fee €20. Contact Billy on 0862670066 for more details. As this is a charity run if anyone wants to come along & support in their everyday cars they're more than welcome.

Just a reminder

Today, Truck Run 4 Katie has purchased for the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Unit of University Hospital Limerick (UHL) state of the art FeNO equipment. UHL is now the first hospital in the West of Ireland that has purchased this Niox Vero Device. This equipment will be instrumental in the diagnostic process of respiratory conditions of patients attending this hospital.

We, the Truck Run 4 Katie Committee, would like to thank you all again for your support in making this possible. We are also very grateful to Susan Corcoran from Healthcare 21 for her assistance with purchasing this innovative equipment.
