Did you know that Myler McGrath, the power-hungry archbishop, who caused so much trouble in The Monks Of Ardmore, was a real person? Myler was an extraordinary character who lived during the Reformation in Ireland. Not only was he a Catholic Bishop, but he was also a Protestant Archbishop, was married twice, and had nine children! Look him up, it's what he would have wanted.
Not to give away too much, Myler makes a return in The Monks Of Ardmore III, travelling through time with the magic of the leprechaun!
