On the process to change my mum in law bedroom 😊 this unit was done by my husband about 30 years ago😍
And I'm so glad she keeps that, and let me do that looks😘
I mixed Annie Sloan Old ochre with Duck blue egg, whitewashed, distressed, dark waxed and here we are. Pine is perfect to create something new 🥰

I'm in love with that color, Everet from Fusion(it's like khaki green for me). Wasn't sure whether to add gold, but lately, I'm fascinated with everything simpler. I think that table is interesting itself. Looking for a new home for it☺️

Being quiet lately. Some of you know I'm waiting for a fireplace to be put in my workshop. And the weather is against me. Drying is very bad, and turns out not great. I spray many pieces( commission jobs). Whatever I can do with brush, I could do at home. But it's not easy in the living room, and on top of that still changes/renovations, in the house. But as soon as things are sorted I'd be back☺️
But there's so many artists I follow, so why not show you that beautiful work😍

For 2023❤️ I'm gonna promise to make more quality family times❤️🙏 more friends time❤️🙏more adventure ❤️🙏be better and more confident in my work❤️🙏 less criticism for myself and my work🙏❤️

Slowly getting there☺️
We're on the road to change everything in the house (well, most of things in the house). And we do it all by ourselves (my husband and I), which is time consuming (he works full time, sometimes it's more than 10h).

So, we're proud that we do it ourselves.
I do my business/ hobby around my kids and family, and other day responsibilities (which sometimes I think is more than you have when go for 8h work), and things go slower a times than you wish.

But, I'm so grateful we can do it. And I love interior design, anything about it, and I'm lost😅

That's why I decided to show you, because why not?I have fantastic and supportive people, friends, family here❤️❤️❤️
And thank you for being on that journey here with me, and support me.

I know this isn’t everyones cup of tea but creating grungy pieces just makes my soul happy. Because life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows…things age and I find it beautiful.
This is probably my favorite ever paper by MINT by michelle called Flying Birds. It’s just always gorgeous whatever it’s put on.(I’ll post in comments a link straight to it)
I’ve created textured pieces many times before but not at this level.
I’m so glad I took The White Plums class to learn texture goals 🙌🏻
I used Wise Owl Paint - Gray Linen, Dijon, Black, Iron Oxide, Chocolate & grey primer

Done with Annie Sloan Coco and Honfleur with dark wax finish, plus a bit of truffle deluxe paste ☺️
It wasn't possible to restore the original unfortunately, but it's magnificent piece

You don't have to spend a lot to make something nice. I got it in charity shop for 2.50e ( paint, brown mud, old gold paste), and there's the final effect 😍
I'm going to do few of them and maybe you would like to see process of creating it?
