We are very sad to announce Pat Curtin a friend and work colleague sadly passed away on the 16th April 2024. Pat was a true gentleman loved by all and will be sadly missed in Takumi. Pat had a passion for music and exploring the great outdoors. In he’s honor we will be going a hike up “Keeper Hill” on Friday the 5th July. We have chosen to fundraise for Kerry Mountain Rescue Association. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause. We hope that you can help us by donating whatever you can. .

TAKUMI ACQUIRES LIMERICK LASERS TO EXPAND TECHNOLOGICAL CAPABILITIES.

Takumi Precision Engineering, a global leader in precision manufacturing and engineering solutions, proudly announces the acquisition of Limerick Lasers, a renowned provider of advanced laser technology. This strategic move marks a significant milestone for Takumi as it continues to strengthen its position in the high-tech manufacturing industry.
Dating from the company’s establishment in April 1996, the Limerick Lasers are specialists in laser engraved metal & acrylic nameplates and tags for use in the Food, Chemical, Medical, Pharmaceutical & Electrical Engineering Industries.
Commenting on the acquisition, Donal Galligan, CEO of Takumi, stated “We are thrilled to welcome Limerick Lasers in to the Takumi family. The acquisition is a testament to our commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements in precision engineering and expanding our offering to our customers. The Laser business will relocate from its premises in Eastlink Business Park and all manufacturing will operate from Takumi’s site in Raheen Business Park, Limerick. Takumi is dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition for Limerick Lasers customers and partners.

Takumi will be closed on Thursday 17th & Friday 18th March to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. The once-off bank holiday on Friday 18th March is a Day of Remembrance and Recognition for the efforts of the general public of Ireland and remembrance of lives lost during the pandemic.
