It's with great sadness that we are posting this, Ger was a great friend and loved by us all,he was highly respected in our group , He always encouraged us to push on when we need it, he will be missed greatly by us all,and especially his family wife Lynda and his son Ian and his wife Ellie and son Emmett and partner Shane, and all his extended family, may he rest in peace, funeral arrangements are as follows.

📣UPDATE ON COVID-19 & TRIATHLON
Over the last number of weeks life has changed for our community, and indeed for all of Ireland, as we adhere to Government measures to contain the Covid-19 pandemic. We would like to keep you updated with the latest developments for triathlon.

The 2020 triathlon season will be postponed until after 30th June 2020. This is not a decision that we have taken lightly but it is the best option to enable race organisers reschedule for later in the year. This also allows our community every chance for a busy late season in 2020, when it is safe to do so!

It's official.The 2 Pas have accepted the challenge and signed up for the Hardman full next August. We wish them all the best with their training over the next few months and look forward to hosting ye in Killarney next summer. We will keep you updated on their progress in our monthly newsletter. These lads have built up a large following over the season. They represent all that is good about triathlon, true Hardmen. No doubt they'll bring their own brand of craic to Killarney on the big day.

well done to Ger,Macca,Ellie who took on Lough Derg Quest today and smashed it well done guys, we also had members competing in ventry well done all keep up the training and pushing forward giving up is not an option 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Getting excited.

This is what triathlon is about, not some money machine telling you that you are now part of a family ,Hardman Ireland won't tell you, they are there with you supporting you all the way to the finish line, the plesure is all ours thanks for having us.

This is what makes it all worthwhile! A year ago these two young fellas decided to learn to swim and do some triathlons. The story on the swimming lessons alone is worth hearing but not my story to tell. They called me and asked if they could attempt the Olympic distance in Killarney in September. I said by all means. They came down and did it. Three weeks ago they finished the Hardman half in Waterville, the best and hardest half in the country. They weren't fast but they had a day to remember. With Limerick out of the hurling they are now Limerick's favourite sporting sons and the celebrations are ongoing. Pa Mc and Pa Daly, take a bow. It was an honour to host ye. True Hardmen!

Well done to Maurice Moyahane and Frank O Sullivan who took part in yesterday first ironman cork ireland , we know that the boys were disappointed that the swim was cancled but safety first and with the weather conditions on the cycle course they got enough water on board it was like a swim/cycle 😂, unfortunately Maurice bike came to an end 20k from the finish fait play to him to make a call a well done for starting, frank finished last night race in time to go for a few well deserved pints , again lads well done from all of us here 🏅🏅

Another great Olympic tri done a dusted

Hardman Sprint Valentia, Ireland's most beautiful sprint distance triathlon.

Swim to the island from the mainland, cycle around the island with views of the Blaskets and the Skelligs then run to the top of the island and back to the finish.

Taking place on Saturday 15th June, the late start will suit those travelling longer distances and will make the after party all the more special.
