"My name is Ed Price.  I studied fine art in LSAD.  I currently work as a secondary school art teacher in Salesian Secondary College Pallaskenry, Co Limerick.  When I do get the chance to make some art it is usually, as a result of, an art project I have carried out with my students or is influenced by teaching the History of Art.

Over the past number of months, I have been making some pointillist artworks, which is inspired by the work of the Impressionist artists.  I create small-scale work and the subject matter is my local environment (Limerick city).  I use fine-line markers and limit myself to the primary colours.  Using small dots of different primary colour side by side, I create all the colours I need to create my drawings.

Every weekend find a fabulous display from local artists and crafters in 19 Nicholas Street V94A7x6.

Get your green out this weekend for Limerick ... our Artists will be displaying in The heart of the Medieval Quarter near King John's Castle, 19 Nicholas Street.

You will find a variety of styles and themes from Grace, Giulia, Ed Price and Chris Welz
Oils, acrylics, Watercolours, digital comic art and jewellery.

A weekend of festivity in Limerick city ahead, and for visitors and locals alike, the Art4LimerickPopup is in the centre of the Medieval Quarter open and welcoming everyone from 10.30am to 5.30pm both Saturday and Saturday.

Lots of new art will be displayed from new members of our colourful community

We are delighted to welcome Clia to Nicholas Street for the first time.

Eileen O'Brien is a passionate artist whose journey into painting rekindled during an unexpected moment in her life. As a child, she found joy in drawing and crafting, but as adulthood and work responsibilities took over, her artistic pursuits were set aside. It wasn't until the first Covid lockdown, 45 years later, that Eileen rediscovered her love for art. Picking up a brush again, she found solace and inspiration in painting, and hasn't put it down since. Eileen specialises in capturing the breathtaking landscapes of the Irish environment, bringing the beauty of her homeland to life on canvas.
