Limerick City Model
This ones a bit like marmite! Thanks to Fab Lab Limerick for printing a 3D model of the proposed refurbishment of the Mill providing an extension to the 5* The Savoy Hotel in Limerick City. Limerick City Model | Fab Lab
During the planning stage we commissioned a 3-D printed massing model for the Bishop's Quay development @ Fab Lab Limerick. Here's a video of the proposed building in the city model @ Fab Lab. The city model is on display in their workshop on Rutland Street, Limerick City. The model was created to be a tool for design and development of the city. Each city block is 3D printed and the base is CNC cut, accurately representing the existing city. The blocks can be removed from the model, so as the city progresses, the model will progress too. All parts of the model were designed and made at Fab Lab Limerick, 7 Rutland Street, Limerick City (part of SA UL).
