This will be your chance to meet some of the women running for Directly Elected Mayor and in the Local Elections on June 7th.

As part of Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival we were delighted to host a workshop on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) facilitated by Ballyhoura Development. TY Students from Colaiste Iosaef took part in this interactive workshop about the practical, simple actions that can be undertaken to contribute to achieving the SDGs and develop a deeper understanding of what the SDGs are.

In mid-April 1919, Limerick Trade Unions and workers protested the imposition of martial law in the city by calling a general strike and establishing a 'Soviet' to manage the city's affairs, even issuing it's own currency. This exhibition tells it's story.

City Library recently welcomed local historian Sharon Slater and all who took part in what was a fascinating historic walking tour of the city - part of this year's Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival 2024 💚🩶

As part of Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival, Ballyhoura Development facilitated a workshop on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at Kilmallock Library. It was an interactive workshop about the practical, simple actions that can be undertaken to contribute to achieving the SDGs and developing a deeper understanding of what the SDGs are. We are hosting another exciting exhibition of artwork ok Friday 19th from 4-6pm

We will also have an open round table discussion, led by our lived experience group on the benefits of trauma therapy and the role of trauma informed practice in further education settings.
