I chose the Northwest M.S Therapy Centre in Sligo as Multiple Sclerosis has always been very close to my heart. My late grandmother suffered for 40+ years from the condition and as life went on her condition deteriorated and resulted in being paralyzed from the next down. Being able to support a charity that supports and helps those suffering from the condition and improving their everyday lives means a great deal to me. I am so proud to be a part of this charity fundraiser and continuing to raise funds and awareness of MS is a great passion of mine and I am more than happy to be part of it! 🌟💙❤️

I wanted to raise funds and awareness for the MS North West Therapy Centre as it was a local charity to St. Angela’s College that receives very little state funding and relies heavily on donations from the public!

The Therapy Centre offer fantastic facilities for patients suffering from MS and could not be ran without their supportive and caring staff!

MS touch’s everyone in someway be it through family or friends and for this reason I felt it was a worthy cause to raise funds for!

I choose MS North West Therapy Centre Sligo, as I felt it was worthy cause, as a close family friend of mine suffered from MS for years. I witnessed first-hand the services that they offered to the patient and their immediate family and friends. I felt this charity deserved a lot of recognition and especially to their staff who were very generous and supportive throughout the whole process. 🙌🏼✨💙❤️

I decided the North West M.S. Therapy Centre Sligo was an ideal charity to fundraise for as M.S affects approx 6000 people in Ireland. ❤💙
From working in MacNean House & Restaurant I thought it was an ideal opportunity to ask Neven Maguire to hold a cookery demonstration in the college to raise awareness and vital funds for the charity! 🙌🏻✨

✨ Here we have two of our team members Clodagh and Edel outside the MS Centre here in Sligo ✨

These lovely ladies spent their afternoon dropping off our charity buckets with the money we have raised 🥰

It was great to catch up with the staff at the Centre and see how things have been going there. It’s always great to support local, deserving charities 🤗🙌🏼✨💙

WHAT IS MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS!

MS is a chronic autoimmune disorder affecting movement, sensation and bodily functions.
It is caused by the destruction of the myelin insulation covering nerve fibres (neurons) in the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord).

Cooking up a storm for MS Neven Maguire will be joining us for a cooking demonstration with all proceeds going directly to the MS North West Therapy Centre.

We have had such a productive day getting ready for next Wednesday 25th of September for our LIVE cooking demonstration with NEVEN MAGUIRE at St. Angela’s College Sligo from 1-2pm 💙✨

Today we visited the M.S Northwest Therapy Centre in Sligo to have a tour of the amazing facilities available to service users. The therapy centre rely heavily on fundraising which is why we are so proud to be raising vital funds for this charity.

We received our t-shirts which we will proudly be wearing on the day as well as our fundraising buckets for donations on the day.

We are so looking forward to seeing a hugely anticipated crowd there. Tickets will be available to buy on the door and there will soon be an Eventbrite page!
