While the current visa situation is still causing much uncertainty with travellers, the Daily Maverick online has reported that 3 VFS offices have been contracted to process these new visas.

Roads / Civil Site Engineer
To qualify for this position you must have current site experience including experience working with a Total Survey Station.
Essential requirements: Associate membership of a chartered engineering institution; An accredited three or four-year degree in civil engineering or engineering science.
Completion of postgraduate training and full membership of a chartered engineering institution. Please provide a work portfolio relevant to job.
Duties:
Roads/Civil Site design activities for projects and studies in various development stages: pre-feasibility, feasibility, concept design, basic design, detailed design, permitting.
Engineering calculations and sizing.
Being adept at using a Total Survey Station.
Reviewing Bill of quantities during work and reporting to QS & PM on variations.
Technical support during construction works.
Attendance to internal project review meetings.
Attendance to meetings with clients together with PM (Project Manager).
Reports progress on project activities to PM.
Estimate duration, propose, and agree on deadlines with PM for allocated design activities.
Supporting the PM in respect of on site functions.
Engineer to come in as part of our resurfacing team that contract to local authorities and also to work within our Groundworks team in the building division.
🔥Benefits: The company will assist with flights & accommodation.
Annual remuneration: €50,000
47.5 Hours/wk

The ideal candidate must have experience in installing/dismantling/working with and on Tower Cranes, an HGV licence & be physically fit. Working on Potain Cranes a distinct advantage.
Duties:
Preparing, rigging, slinging and transportation of heavy plant/plant components to/from construction sites.
Working as a rigger or steel erector
Be comfortable working at heights
Performing all duties in accordance with or on tower cranes
Preparing, rigging, slinging and transportation of heavy plant/plant components to/from construction site
Knowledge of lifting equipment such as chains and slings
Physically fit
