Hygiene Hub Donegal
Group of volunteers that collect and donate hygiene products to those experiencing hygiene poverty.
We believe no child should be experiencing hygiene poverty. We provide hygiene, personal care and household cleaning products to families struggling with the back to school costs.
How can you help?
Pick up some additional hygiene items on your next shop and donate them at one of our drop off points in Donegal.
If you are unsure where your nearest drop off point is, you can find out through our website: hygienehub.ie or directly through the link in our bio.
Or you can donate €25 to support one child here: https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/DonegalHygieneHub13
Help us supply the basics to the most vulnerable.
We will be collecting from now until mid-August so we can donate in time before the schools go back.
Please share with anyone who you think may be able to help.
We believe no child should be experiencing hygiene poverty. This time of the year causes a financial strain on most families; the cost of books, uniforms, and everything else involved can quickly add up. For some families, this strain will mean making some very difficult choices. We want to help those households and ensure that no child has to go to school without having access to everyday essentials that most of us take for granted.
How can you help?
Choose whether you would like to support a primary or secondary school child and donate items for them at one of our 80 drop off points across the country. If you are unsure where your nearest drop off point is, you can find out through our website: hygienehub.ie or directly through the link in our bio.
Or donate financially through our iDonate page: https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/DonegalHygieneHub13
If you would like to make a larger product donation, please get in touch with us by emailing [email protected] and we will arrange something as we don't want to overwhelm the small businesses who are being so generous by hosting a box for us.
Help us supply the basics to the most vulnerable.

Hygiene poverty is a relatively unknown concept. This means it is hard to talk about.
According to our recent research:
69% of respondents reported feeling embarrassed or ashamed as a result of not being able to afford hygiene items.
Feeling clean is fundamental to good mental health and overall wellbeing.
It’s time to shatter the stigma of hygiene poverty.
If you believe that we all deserve to feel clean, get involved in our campaign.
